Keynote Speech From Governor Haley Barbour

On May14 we will welcome former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour as a guest speaker. Governor Barbour is one of America's most accomplished and respected political leaders. During his nearly 40 years in the public arena, he has been a top advisor to presidents, the chairman of the Republican Party, and a champion of the Gulf Coast region when it was hit by the most devastating natural disaster in U.S. history, Hurricane Katrina.

Capitol Reception and Tour Hosted by Congressman Joe Barton of Texas

Participants will enjoy an evening tour of the United States Capitol hosted by Congressman Joe Barton (R-TX). Congressman Barton serves as Chairman Emeritus of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and has been an unwavering supporter of the physician-owned hospital industry during his 15 term career in the United States House of Representatives.

The event will begin with a legislative briefing on Tuesday, May 14 at 3:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City. Participants will then head over to the Hill where they will hear from Gov. Barbour, key congressional staffers, and then enjoy a reception and Capitol tour. Capitol Hill meetings will take place all day on Wednesday, May 15.
